Airway- The New Frontier for Dentistry and Medicine
Back by popular demand: Dr. James Metz! OSA University is very honored to have Dr. Metz return to OSA University for a webinar lecture on Airway: The New Frontier for Dentistry and Medicine. As a follow up to his February TMD webinar, Dr. Metz will take a deeper dive into TMD Complications with OSA patients. He will also discuss the etiology and ramifications of an obstructed airway from birth/childhood years through adulthood.
After this webinar, dentists will have a stronger understanding on the etiology and ramifications of an obstructed airway lifecycle. Dr. James Metz will present critical information on TMD complications arising from oral appliance therapy, proper TMD management protocols, and troubleshooting techniques with a simplified approach.

ABOUT DR. JAMES METZ
Dr. James Metz is a 1973 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. Dr. Metz maintains a general dental practice in Columbus, Ohio, with an emphasis on dental sleep medicine. He is the afﬁliate director of The Ohio State University Medical Center Sleep Medicine Fellowship Program. He has previously served on the AADSM board of directors, course development committee, public relations committee, and was the Chair for the Introductory Course of Dental Sleep Medicine in addition to being the Co-Chair for the Annual meeting 2014. He is the current Chair of the American Thoracic Society (ATS) Interest Group on Dental Sleep Medicine and a member of the Executive Committee the Sleep, Respiratory, and Neurobiology (SRN) Assembly of the ATS.
