How to Read a Sleep Study

A common question that dentists frequently ask is “How do I read a sleep study?” If you’ve ever asked yourself this question, this webinar is for You! We all know that a diagnosis of sleep apnea must come from an FDA cleared sleep testing device. We also know that the interpretation and diagnosis must come from a board certified sleep physician. Jonathan Lown, MD is a nationally recognized board certified sleep physician and on this webinar he will educate you on how to read the results of a sleep test. Dr. Lown will review the differences between Polysomnogram (PSG) Sleep Test Results as well as Home Sleep Test (HST) Results. His experience as a sleep physician will provide you as the dentist an insightful perspective on how to utilize the data from the sleep testing results.

What you will learn:

- Learn How to Read Home Sleep Test Results

- Learn How to Read Diagnostic PSG and Titration Sleep Test Results

- Learn How to Understand a Sleep Hypnogram

-Learn the Pros’s and Con's of Home Sleep Testing

-Learn What Sleep Fragmentation is and Why it's Important
